Hanche-Olsen klar for spill i USA

Fotballprofilen Andreas Hanche-Olsen bytter ut tysk fotball med spill for Chicago Fire i nordamerikansk fotball.
Major League Soccer-klubben bekrefter signeringen av den norske forsvarsspilleren tirsdag.
Hanche-Olsen kommer fra tyske Mainz. Han hentes permanent til Chicago. Klubben opplyser at nordmannen gjenstår å gjennomgå den medisinske sjekken, og Hanche-Olsen har per nå heller ikke visum.
Kontrakten han har signert strekker seg ut 2030/31-sesongen.
– Andreas bringer med seg omfattende erfaring både på internasjonalt nivå og på tvers av europeiske ligaer, inkludert flere sesonger i en topp fem-liga, sier Chicago Fires fotballdirektør og hovedtrener Gregg Berhalter.
29 år gamle Hanche-Olsen har spilt over 300 kamper på seniornivå i Norge, Belgia og Tyskland.

As of yesterday, it wasn’t entirely clear that he'd wrest it away from receiver Jalin Hyatt. But with Hyatt on the practice squad, Beckham gets natural priority.

Beyond getting cut from the roster on Sunday, Hyatt has 36 catches for 470 yards and zero touchdowns in three full seasons wearing No. 13.
