Woods Signs One-Day Deal to Retire as Ram

Veteran wide receiver Robert Woods has signed a one-day contract with the Rams to retire as a member of the team, the franchise announced Tuesday.

After 13 NFL seasons, Woods concluded his career where it began with the Rams. The 12-year veteran played for Los Angeles from 2017-21, appearing in 68 games with 367 receptions for 4,626 yards and 23 touchdowns. He was instrumental in the Rams' Super Bowl LVI victory in 2021, recording 45 receptions for 556 yards that season.

"After 27 unforgettable years of putting my heart into this game, and 13 incredible years in the NFL, it's time to step away from playing the sport that has given me everything," Woods wrote in a social media post announcing his retirement.
