UFL to Add Oklahoma City Team in 2028

The UFL confirmed via email Thursday morning that it will add a new team to Oklahoma City for the 2028 season. The yet-to-be-named team will play in a downtown, 10,000-seat stadium currently under construction.

This expansion comes as the UFL continues to establish itself in the American football landscape, moving most teams to smaller stadiums to reduce the appearance of empty seats. The league has persisted through various iterations over the past eight years, from the AAF to the XFL reboot to the current merged USFL and XFL format.
