Arbeloa: 'We Ride Together' After Vini Jr Racism Claim

Álvaro Arbeloa reaffirmed Real Madrid's stance against racism after Vinicius Jr allegedly suffered monkey chants during their Champions League victory over Benfica.

Arbeloa emphasized 'zero tolerance for racism' and said the club stands by their player. 'We ride together and die together,' he stated. Vini Jr scored the winner but was cautioned for his celebration. Play was halted for ten minutes after the alleged incident involving Benfica's Gianluca Prestianni, who denies making racist remarks.

The Real Madrid boss confirmed they supported Vini Jr's decision to report the incident. 'As soon as you get to know him, you quickly realise what a good person he is,' Arbeloa added. Prestianni claimed the Brazilian 'misunderstood what he thought he heard' and denied being racist.
