Sport Bild reports that Bayern Munich are not pursuing a summer transfer for Manchester City midfielder Phil Foden. The club’s sporting director Max Eberl has said the player’s €80 million market value exceeds the budget for an attacking player.
Bayern’s squad already features several high‑quality wingers and midfielders, including Luis Diaz, Michael Olise, and the newly extended Gnabry, leaving little need for a player of Foden’s profile. Manchester City are instead focused on extending Foden’s contract until 2027.
