Connolly's 72* guides Punjab Kings past Gujarat Titans

Punjab Kings secured a three-wicket victory over Gujarat Titans as Cooper Connolly's unbeaten 72* steered them home in a thrilling encounter.

Cooper Connolly played a composed, measured innings of 72 not out off 44 balls, anchoring Punjab Kings to a nervy three-wicket win over Gujarat Titans at Mohali. After a quickfire 37 from Prabhsimran Singh gave Punjab a strong start, Gujarat's Prasidh Krishna pulled things back with figures of 3 for 29. However, Connolly remained calm under pressure, while Xavier Bartlett's unbeaten cameo of 11* proved decisive in the final overs.

Gujarat Titans failed to find their rhythm despite a fluent start from openers Shubman Gill (39) and Jos Buttler (38). The visitors stalled on a tricky surface, unable to accelerate their innings. Punjab's disciplined bowling and Connolly's temperament ultimately secured the victory in a high-stakes chase.
