Shesterkin Stops 22, Fights Markstrom in Rangers 4-1 Win

Igor Shesterkin made 22 saves and fought Devils goaltender Jacob Markstrom midway through the third period, leading the New York Rangers to a 4-1 victory over the New Jersey Devils. Conor Sheary and J.T. Miller scored in the first period, while rookie Jaroslav Chmelar and Mika Zibanejad added goals to secure the win.

The Rangers, who have won three straight games, limited Devils star Jack Hughes to zero points. With the victory, New York remains last in the Eastern Conference standings.
