In a three-round mock draft by CBS Sports' Ryan Wilson, the 49ers chose Caleb Lomu to potentially replace aging left tackle Trent Williams in the future. Lomu is considered a long-term solution for San Francisco's offensive line, which looks different when Williams is not in the lineup.
The 49ers also selected 6-foot-3 Florida cornerback Devin Moore with their other pick. Moore brings much-needed depth to a position with limited options behind Deommodore Lenoir and Renardo Green. Despite playing in only 30 games over four college seasons and recording a 4.50-second 40-yard dash, Moore's five interceptions over the past three seasons make him an intriguing prospect for Raheem Morris' defense.
