Nacua’s attorney, Levi McCathern, told The California Post that the player had been in rehab for a substantial period before the allegations surfaced and will remain there for some time. The rehab was not a reaction to the lawsuit filed by Madison Atiabi last month but an effort to improve his overall behavior.
The lawsuit claims Nacua made an antisemitic statement and bit the accuser on the shoulder, but the player is considered innocent by his legal team.
