The South Bay Lakers edged the San Diego Clippers 122‑119 in a tight first‑round game, securing a berth in the next round of the G League playoffs. Chris Mañon finished with 7 points and 4 rebounds, scoring five of his points in the final 1:21 and grabbing a steal with 10.4 seconds left to seal the win.

Malik Williams and Drew Timme each poured in 21 points, while Kobe Bufkin added 20 points, 5 assists, 4 rebounds and a block. Nick Smith Jr. contributed 18 points, 5 assists and 2 steals off the bench.
