A chaotic incident at Alianza Lima’s Estadio Alejandro Villanueva left one dead and 47 injured during a fan gathering, officials say.

One person died and 47 people were injured in a confusion at the Estadio Alejandro Villanueva in Peru. Health Minister Juan Carlos Velasco said 17 were admitted to Hospital 2 de Mayo, 15 to Hospital Nacional Arzobispo Loayza and 2 to other facilities, while the cause is under investigation.
