Skotheim Back on Track After Foot Surgery

Sander Skotheim (23) is on track to return to competition by the end of May after a January foot surgery. He hopes to compete in the European Championships in Birmingham.

The Norwegian thrower suffered a ligament injury in his left foot during a training camp on 20 January, requiring surgery. He has already completed his first throw post‑operation and is targeting a May comeback, with the 2024 European Championships in Birmingham as his ultimate goal.

Skotheim missed the 2024 Paris Olympics and the 2025 Tokyo World Championships due to the injury.
