Greene's Mentality Wins Over Washington Coaching Staff

Kodi Greene, a former five‑star recruit and No. 1 California player, joins Washington as a freshman left tackle. Standing 6‑ft‑6 and 321 lb, he has the size and athleticism to compete for the starting spot behind coach Jedd Fisch’s offensive line.

Offensive line coach Michael Switzer praised Greene’s attention to detail, preparation and mental discipline, noting that his performance in the weight room and on the field has turned heads. With senior transfer Kolt Dieterich sidelined, Greene is expected to get the majority of reps and could become the clear favorite to start by the end of spring practice.
