Alex Karaban Ends Historic UConn Career in Final March Madness Game

Alex Karaban capped his UConn career with a 17‑point, 11‑rebound, 40‑minute performance in the Huskies’ 69‑63 loss to Michigan in the national championship game.

Karaban, who has helped UConn win back‑to‑back titles in 2023 and 2024, finished his career with 17 points, 11 rebounds, two assists and two steals, playing every minute of the championship loss. Coach Dan Hurley praised his leadership, noting that Karaban was a steadying force and the most fitting way for him to conclude his tenure.
