Michigan outlasted the UConn Huskies 69-63 in Indianapolis to claim their first national title since 1989. Despite a slow start from the arc, the Wolverines found their rhythm, with Elliot Cadeau leading the way with 19 points and Trey McKenney sinking a pivotal three-pointer late in the game.

UConn senior Alex Karaban scored 17 points, but the Huskies could not overcome Michigan's defense in the final minutes. Yaxel Lendeborg added 13 points as the Wolverines celebrated a historic victory.
