Mauricio hits walk-off single to lift Mets past Diamondbacks

Pinch-hitter Ronny Mauricio delivered a game-winning single in the 10th inning, lifting the New York Mets to a 4-3 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks in his return to the majors.

Mauricio, recalled from Triple-A when Juan Soto went on the injured list, laced an 0-2 pitch over the head of right fielder Corbin Carroll to score automatic runner Francisco Lindor. The victory gave New York a 7-4 record and extended their winning streak to four games.
