Astros Lose Diaz to Oblique Strain

The Astros have called up catcher César Salazar from Triple-A Sugar Land to serve as backup, with veteran Christian Vázquez stepping in as the starter. Diaz, 27, was hitting .248 with two home runs and 14 RBIs in 26 games this season before being injured in batting practice Monday. toffler.lol
