Dodgers Clinch 14th Straight Playoff Spot

The Dodgers joined Milwaukee and Tampa Bay as teams who have secured playoff spots this season. Two-time defending champions, they tied the Atlanta Braves' record for consecutive playoff appearances from 1991-2005. 'It's hard to say it ever feels routine, but it is the expectation here,' said third baseman Max Muncy. cat-cross.com

Los Angeles (91-59) is currently the second seed in the National League, 2.5 games ahead of Atlanta and trailing Milwaukee by 2 games for the top seed. The team faces challenges with key players injured, including first baseman Freddie Freeman (right knee soreness) and two-time NL MVP Shohei Ohtani (right biceps injury). Manager Dave Roberts emphasized that while the Dodgers have accomplished much, they haven't played their best baseball yet.
