Milano Cortina 2026: Day 14 Olympic events to watch, full schedule

Combine high-stakes hockey and curling with a potential Canadian Olympic record, and you have a truly thrilling Friday at Milano Cortina 2026.

Here are athletes and teams to watch, along with the full schedule for Day 14 (all times Eastern):

Marielle Thompson (women’s ski cross, 4-7:10 a.m.)

The Canadian underwent knee surgery last year before winning two bronze medals on the World Cup circuit this season. Thompson won Olympic gold in 2014 and silver in 2022.

Team Rachel Homan (women’s curling, semifinal vs. Sweden, 8:05 a.m.)

The Canadian women’s rink won its last five games of the round-robin to clinch the final playoff spot.

Canadian men’s hockey team (semifinal vs. Finland, 10:40 a.m.)

After an overtime thriller against Czechia in the quarterfinals, Canada faces another tough test against Finland.

Courtney Sarault (women’s 1,500m short-track speedskating, 2:15-4 p.m.)

After earning four medals already this Olympics, Sarault can tie a Canadian single-Games record if she hits the podium in this event. Long-track speedskater Cindy Klassen won five in 2006.

Canadian men’s short-track speedskating team (5,000m relay finals, 3:18 p.m.)

Steven Dubois returns to the track with the relay team after winning gold in the 500 metres on Wednesday.
