How Bills’ new coaching staff could reshape roster through 2026 NFL Draft

The Buffalo Bills feature the league’s youngest head coach in Joe Brady (36), and are expected to overhaul the defense from a base 4-3 to 3-4 under new defensive coordinator Jim Leonhard.

A key aspect of the NFL’s offseason is the annual NFL Scouting Combine, which begins on Monday and runs through March 2 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, IN. Brady, president of football operations/general manager Brandon Beane and the rest of Buffalo’s front office will get an up-close-and-personal look at the best available college football prospects at the combine, and today’s edition of Buffalo Rumblinks leads off by exploring the latest NFL mock drafts to see how Beane and Brady could reshape their roster through the draft.

Assessing the latest NFL mock drafts

The Buffalo Bills currently have seven picks in the draft, including three among the first 91 selections.

Ahead of this week’s combine, we sift through the latest batch of mock drafts to see where the experts think the Bills will go with their first-round pick, including their potential interest in Washington wide receiver Denzel Boston, Oklahoma edge rusher/outside linebacker R. Mason Thomas (pictured below), Notre Dame WR Malachi Fields, Indiana WR Omar Cooper Jr., and a slew of reinforcements along the defensive line, from Clemson defensive tackle Peter Woods to Ohio State defensive tackle Kayden McDonald.
