Stach Gets 8, Calvert-Lewin With 7 | Leeds United Players Rated In Hard-Fought Draw Vs Aston Villa

Leeds United clashed heads with Aston Villa at Villa Park earlier today as they hoped to secure a good result on the road in the Premier League. The Whites made a decent start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 31st minute thanks to Anton Stach’s excellent effort. Daniel Farke’s men went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.

Tammy Abraham scored the equaliser for the Villans in the 88th minute. The contest ended with the West Yorkshire club earning a hard-fought 1-1 draw away from home.

He made a few solid saves at the back, but would be disappointed after conceding such a late goal.

RB: James Justin – 7/10

Justin gave a good account of himself when defending inside his half.

CB: Ethan Ampadu – 7/10

He performed his defensive duties well and made one good chance going forward.

CB: Pascal Struijk – 7/10

Struijk was a rock at the back and made one good run with the ball.

CB: Joe Rodon – 7/10

He put his foot through the ball when he could and won a couple of aerial duels.

LB: Gabriel Gudmundsson – 7/10

Gudmundsson was a positive influence at both ends of the field.

RM: Jayden Bogle – 7/10

He caught the eye at times on the right flank.

CM: Ilia Gruev – 6/10

Gruev came back to defend when he could, but offered very little in the final third.

CM: Anton Stach – 8/10

He caused a lot of problems for his marker and managed to score the opener with a spectacular hit.

LM: Brenden Aaronson – 6.5/10

Aaronson made one decent run with the ball but failed to find the back of the net.

ST: Dominic Calvert-Lewin – 7/10

He was a real handful for the opposition defenders and led the line well for the Whites today.
