Inter Vs Bodo/Glimt – Netherlands Star Completes Full Training Session Whilst Turkey Talisman Remains Touch-And-Go

Inter Milan received a significant fitness boost on Monday as Denzel Dumfries returned to full group training ahead of Tuesday’s Champions League playoff second leg against Bodo/Glimt at San Siro, though Hakan Calhanoglu’s availability remains uncertain.

The Turkish midfielder trained only partially with his teammates, whilst Dumfries completed a full session, according to FcInterNews.

The session was the first full day of preparation for the Champions League clash.

Indeed, players who featured heavily at Lecce on Saturday working on an individual basis.

Meanwhile, the rest of the squad completed a standard training session.

Cristian Chivu had already flagged Dumfries’s return in his post-match press conference at the Via del Mare.

And, indeed, the Dutchman duly came through the session without issue, a timely development as Inter look to bolster their options for a match in which they must overturn a 3-1 deficit.

The midfielder worked alongside his teammates for part of the session, but his full involvement remains to be seen.

Chivu will be hopeful the Turkish international can at least make the bench on Tuesday, with his creativity and set-piece delivery potentially crucial in what promises to be a demanding and high-stakes evening at San Siro.
