Let’s face it; Klint Kubiak was hired as the new head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders because of what he can bring to the team’s offense, beginning in the 20-26 season.
Kubiak had a brilliant season as the offensive coordinator of the Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks. What he does on offense has been a proven winner and the Raiders will want him to do what has worked for him in the past.
While there will be many new wrinkles to the Las Vegas offense brought in by Kubiak, one area where we will likely see an increase is under center drop backs by the quarterback. According to NFL analyst Warren Sharp, the Seahawks had 175 quarterback under center dropbacks in 2o25, which was the third highest in the NFL last season.
The Raiders had 98 such dropbacks last season. So, expect to see Kubiak increase this approach by quite a bit in 2026 in Las Vegas.
