The UFC 327 fight card is slowly coming together.
Several days after the organization announced Joshua Van will defend the men’s flyweight title against Tatsuro Taira at the event, four more notable matchups have officially been added to the card.
Dominick Reyes will face Johnny Walker and Azamat Murzakanov faces Paulo Costa in a pair of light-heavyweight matchups, while Curtis Blaydes clashes with rising heavyweight Josh Hokit and veteran welterweights Kevin Holland and Randy Brown are paired together.
UFC 327 is scheduled to take place April 11 at the Kaseya Center in Miami. The main event has not yet been announced.
Reyes is coming off a knockout loss to Carlos Ulberg in late September that snapped a three-fight finish streak, while Walker snapped a three-fight winless skid by stopping Zhang Mingyang in August. Reyes, 36, is the No. 10-ranked contender in the 205-pound division with Walker ranked No. 12.
Murzakanov, 36, is 16-0 in mixed martial arts and the Russian has risen to No. 6 in the division thanks to starting off his UFC tenure 6-0. Meanwhile, Brazil’s Costa, 34, is moving up from the 185-pound ranks after spending the better part of the past decade competing as a top-10 middleweight contender.
Blaydes is the No. 4-ranked heavyweight contender coming off a lacklustre split decision win over Rizvan Kuniev in June, during which he sustained a knee injury.
Hokit is unranked but is making a name for himself with an 8-0 pro record and two consecutive first-round technical knockout wins at the UFC level, both of which earned him a Performance of the Night bonus, including a January stoppage of Denzel Freeman at UFC 324.
Holland and Brown have a combined 49 UFC appearances and both are looking to get back into the win column.
Jamaica’s Brown, 35, is 14-7 in the UFC since 2016. He has lost two of his past three and was knocked out by Gabriel Bonfim in their November Fight Night main event. Holland, 33, is 15-12 with one no-contest since debuting in 2018 and coming off two consecutive defeats with losses in six of his past nine bouts.
A women’s strawweight bout between Tatiana Suarez and Canadian-Mexican Loopy Godinez, plus a middleweight contest between Kyle Daukaus and Vicente Luque, who’s moving up in weight, were also previously announced for the card.
