Is Macclesfield vs Brentford on TV? Channel, kick-off time and how to watch FA Cup tie
Sixth-tier Macclesfield will be dreaming of more FA Cup magic as they welcome the second Premier League side of their fairytale run in Brentford to Moss Rose.
The National League North outfit pulled off arguably the biggest upset in competition history when they dumped out holders Crystal Palace in the third round, with Paul Dawson and Isaac Buckley-Ricketts writing themselves into club and FA Cup folklore as the goalscorers that afternoon.
While the Silkmen would have fantasised about welcoming an English giant in the fourth round, they will nevertheless have the chance to stun another top-flight club, with the Bees needing to ensure they don’t suffer the same fate as their London rivals.
Brentford eased past the Championship’s rock-bottom side Sheffield Wednesday to get to this stage and come into the contest after taking points off Premier League leaders Arsenal on Thursday, potentially harming their title pursuit.
Here’s everything you need to know.

Macclesfield’s clash with Brentford kicks off at 7:30pm GMT on Monday 16 February at Moss Rose.

Millie Turner: United Women star reveals secret behind success
Manchester United Women’s veteran centre-back, Millie Turner, has had a tough season.
She has spent most of the campaign out injured, but she has fought her way back into the first eleven.
Hero
Turner was rewarded with her first start of the new year against London City Lionesses, and it turned out to be an inspired choice.
Late on in the second half, she rose highest to powerfully head her side in front from a Maya Le Tissier free-kick.
Comeback
Speaking after the match, Turner opened up on her match-winning performance on the club’s official website.
She stated, “the last time I played these, I did my knee in so yeah coming back and getting the win today feels very special. My family is here and it is my grandad’s birthday, so it couldn’t have come at a better time!”
Asked to comment on seeing her family celebrate in the stands, she said, “yeah, honestly it is just so special. Tooney (Ella Toone) came up to me after the game and asked, ‘Mill, are you turning into me?’ So yeah, I’m buzzing.”
Turner was then asked about the character her team showed to come back from such an early deficit. She replied, “yeah, to be fair I didn’t think we deserved to be a goal down. To come back like we always do, I thought it showed amazing team spirit. That’s what we are all about.”
Turning point
She was then asked about a brief team meeting which occurred when Phallon Tullis-Joyce went down to receive treatment in the first half.
Jess Park scored a stunning equaliser just minutes later, but Turner suggested not much was really said to change the flow of the game.
Looking forward
United will now welcome Atletico Madrid to the Progress with Unity Stadium on Thursday, 3-0 up from the first leg.
She claimed, “yeah a huge game. We have got some massive games coming up. That’s why it is important to have such good depth in the squad and that we can utilise everyone.”
