Colts QB Needs Change of Scenery

ESPN's Aaron Schatz has listed Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson Sr. as one of the NFL players who could benefit from a 'change of scenery' this offseason.

Richardson's early performances with Indianapolis have been inconsistent. As a rookie in 2023, he posted a 45.0 QBR in four starts, followed by a 47.4 QBR in 11 starts in 2024. He missed almost all of the 2025 season due to a fractured orbital bone sustained during pregame warmups. With the Colts expected to sign Daniel Jones to a new contract and rising second-year quarterback Riley Leonard showing promise, the team faces a decision on Richardson's future due to his projected $10.8M cap hit next season.
