Colts QB Anthony Richardson Listed as Player in Need of 'Change of Scenery'

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson Sr. has been identified by ESPN's Aaron Schatz as one of NFL players who could use a 'change of scenery' this offseason.

Richardson's performance with the Colts has been inconsistent, posting a 45.0 QBR as a rookie in 2023 and 47.4 QBR in 2024. He missed most of last season due to a fractured orbital bone sustained during pregame warmups.

With the Colts expected to sign Daniel Jones to a contract extension and Riley Leonard emerging as a backup option, Richardson faces an uncertain future. The 24-year-old, who was the 4th overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, carries a $10.8M cap hit next season.
