During the District 7‑4A semifinal at Beech High, a black table held a photo of Bailey, a GoFundMe QR code, and the message "Support Jayden Bailey's Cancer Battle." Fans paid to see Lebanon face Green Hill and were reminded of the 17‑year‑old's fight and death on Feb. 19.
Bailey, who had his left arm amputated in August and battled osteosarcoma, returned to play after missing a season. Coach Jim McDowell and senior Marques Anglin recalled his determination and how he continued to play despite his illness. The team won 46‑44, and the game was a tribute to his spirit. Funeral arrangements have not yet been announced.
