Rodgers Celebrates Derby Victory

Brendan Rodgers celebrated a 4-0 derby victory over Al Ettifaq, calling it 'special' while downplaying title talk despite extending his team's unbeaten run.

Al Qadsiah secured a commanding 4-0 victory in the Eastern Derby against Al Ettifaq, with goals from Nahitan Nandez, Christopher Bonsu Baah, Julian Quinones, and Julian Weigl. The win maintained their unbeaten record in 14 Roshn Saudi League matches since Rodgers took charge.

Despite the impressive result that sees Al Qadsiah sit just three points off the summit, Rodgers remained cautious about title ambitions. 'I always say that the team I'm trying to build here is a team that starts very fast and finishes very strong,' he said, highlighting the team's intensity and technical level in their second game in four days.
