UND 1, Western Michigan 0 — Sam Laurila 1 (Ben Strinden, Cole Reschny) 4:40. Laurila has three golden scoring chances earlier in the shift, but buries one later in the shift. Reschny enters the zone and gets the puck to Strinden in the left circle. Strinden makes a great feed to Laurila coming down the other side and the freshman buries his first-collegiate goal.

UND 1, Western Michigan 1 — Liam Valente 18 (William Whitelaw and Owen Michaels) 6:14. Western Michigan answers right back as Valente slips behind UND defenders Keaton Verhoeff and Abram Wiebe. Whitelaw connects with Valente, who scores five-hole on UND goalie Jan Špunar.

UND 2, Western Michigan 1 — Ollie Josephson 5 (Jake Livanavage, Cody Croal) 12:12. UND regains the lead when Croal sends a pass from high in the zone to Livanavage below the goal line. Livanavage spots Josephson on top of the crease and gets the puck to him. Josephson taps it five-hole on Western Michigan goalie Hampton Slukynsky.

UND 2, Western Michigan 2 — Zach Bookman 3 (Sam Sjolund, Iiro Hakkarainen) 8:10. Sjolund moves the puck to Bookman, who is standing at the outside of the right circle. Bookman flips a wrist shot at the net and it goes through traffic and beats Špunar.
