Mariners Lose 7-6 to Angels in Spring Training

The Seattle Mariners dropped a 7-6 decision to the Los Angeles Angels in spring training, with Angels starter George Klassen pitching well.

Patrick Wisdom and Rhylan Thomas hit solo home runs, but the Mariners couldn't hold the lead. Klassen allowed just one run over three innings, striking out four on his changeup. Bryan Woo started for Seattle, striking out four over 2.1 innings but allowing the go-ahead runs in the ninth. Casey Legumina also struggled, allowing a two-run homer to Jeimer Candelario.
