Sonny Styles Impresses at NFL Combine with Historic Performance

Former Ohio State linebacker Sonny Styles made combine history with a historic performance, posting a 43.5-inch vertical jump and a 4.46-second 40-yard dash.

The 21-year-old reclassified prospect posted the best 40-yard dash time of the day and ranks first among linebackers in athletic scores. Standing 6-foot-5 and 244 pounds, Styles' measurements closely resemble Calvin Johnson.

A former basketball standout, Styles is the son of former Ohio State and NFL linebacker Lorenzo Styles Sr., who won a Super Bowl with the Rams. Projected to be selected 12th overall by the Cowboys, Styles will be joined by his brother Lorenzo Jr. at the combine.
