Horner Blames Mintzlaff, Marko for Firing

Christian Horner claims Oliver Mintzlaff and Helmut Marko pushed for his firing after 20 years at Red Bull, according to a new Netflix interview.

In the upcoming season of 'Drive to Survive,' the former team principal stated he believes the decision was made by the management group following the death of founder Dietrich Mateschitz. Horner also denied that his son Max Verstappen played any role in the decision.

Despite being cleared of harassment allegations by an internal investigation, Horner expressed feeling 'real pain' and a lack of closure after his sudden dismissal in July 2023. Speculation continues regarding his potential return to Formula 1 as a team owner elsewhere.
