Reports claim that four of the eight Hundred teams, owned by IPL-linked businesses, will not consider Pakistani players in the March auction, sparking backlash from players and the ECB.

Four Hundred franchises tied to Indian Premier League owners allegedly will not draft Pakistani cricketers, according to media reports. The claim has drawn criticism from current and former players who demand an impartial auction process.

The England and Wales Cricket Board said all eight teams will select players solely on performance and team needs, and that discrimination on nationality is prohibited.
