England defeated New Zealand by four wickets in the T20 World Cup Super Eights thanks to a stunning unbeaten 19-run cameo from 19-year-old debutant Rehan Ahmed.

Rehan Ahmed finished 19 not out off seven balls and hit a crucial six to ignite the chase, helping England secure victory with three balls remaining. Ahmed replaced Jamie Overton due to a slow pitch, and captain Harry Brook indicated the young all-rounder’s place in the XI would be decided by future conditions.
