Man United Mainoo Future Unclear

According to the Daily Mail, discussions over a new deal for the 20-year-old midfielder have stalled despite his return to the starting lineup under new head coach Michael Carrick. Mainoo was previously frozen out under former boss Ruben Amorim, which added uncertainty to the negotiations.

The Daily Mail reports there are still unresolved issues between Mainoo's representatives and club officials. The midfielder agreed to a salary compromise but didn't hear back from United until Amorim's dismissal in January, and currently earns significantly less than his teammates despite his growing influence in the squad.
