Tennessee's Kaiya Wynn Leaves Program After Senior Day Disappointment

Tennessee Lady Vols guard Kaiya Wynn announced she is leaving the program after reaching a breaking point over not starting on senior day. In a statement posted on X, Wynn expressed frustration that she was asked to check into her final game with 15 seconds left while losing, a moment she was looking forward to as her first career start.

Wynn, who missed last season with an Achilles injury, has played just nine games this year. She noted that while senior night wasn't the sole reason, it was the deciding factor in her decision to step away from the team after five years.
