Schefter: Shaheed Not Near Seahawks Extension

Adam Schefter reports that Rashid Shaheed is not close to a contract extension with the Seattle Seahawks and will enter free agency on Monday. The wide receiver, who was part of a trade from the New Orleans Saints, was eligible for an extension but the two sides have not reached an agreement.

Shaheed was on the field during Super Bowl LX but did not catch a pass. With the free‑agency market opening, he is expected to test the market after the deadline.
